Ann Maree lives in Canberra, Australia. Inspired by nature and working directly from life, her work explores timeless themes through a careful observation of form and light, using the oil painting techniques of the Classical, Realist and Impressionist traditions.

Ann Maree was a finalist in the 15th and 16th International ARC Salons in the Plein Air and Fully from Life categories. She has also been a finalist in a number of national art prizes including the Basil, the EMSLA, the Mosman Prize, the Mandorla Prize, the Kennedy Prize, and the Lethbridge.
